The building I work in is getting a new roof; the workers started putting hot tar on it today.

The office is completely stinkapalooza; smells like grandma's getting a bad home perm in here!

Any suggestions for must-visit yarn shops in Amsterdam? My partner and I will be spending a few days there on our way to Italy, beginning at the end of this week. Thanks for any ideas. - Phil

Has Anyone Knitted the Mananita?

Has Anyone knitted the Mananita Shawl by Meg Swansen? I'm having some trouble with the needle sizing. I'm not sure how big should I go? In her pattern she suggests 10 US, but that is way to huge.

Combined Knitting, right-leaning decrease

At MSRT I took the combined knitting workshop... i guess i knew i was a combined knitter, because i'd had other people tell me that, but i didn't really know what it meant.
