These were such fun to make. Millard did a great job with his pattern and instructions. I used Knit Picks Stroll Tweed Down Heather yarn, fingering weight, 65% Superwash Merino Wool, 25% Nylon, 10% Donnegal Tweed. I'm not someone who wants to fuss over socks after they have been made, so I chose this yarn because I can wash and tumble dry them.
The rep was at my LYS and she had done this scarf. I instantly fell in
with it. While she was in the back getting something out of her car I tried
it on and took a pic. SOOOO nice on me. I even loved the colors she had
picked out so I decided to be a copy cat. I don't care I love this thing. I
did such an excellent job of my partner proceeded to steal it from me as soon

For everyone celebrating, Happy Easter and for those who do not, Happy Day! I haven't been commenting lately, but I have really enjoyed reading and seeing what everyone has been sharing. You guys are truly an inspiration. These socks are for my older sister made from some left-over yarn from when I knitted her the Adamas Shawl.
My mother-in-law just got rid of the last of her knitting stash and in it, was 50 grams of white angora. I think it is sock yarn weight, but I'm not sure. I have attached two photos, one next to sock (fingering) yarn and the other with the ball in my hand. I wear a medium glove. It certainly isn't worsted weight, but I'm not sure about DK.
Thought I'd share a couple of colorful pictures.
Good Morning Guys,
