Wanted to share my latest scarf pattern, more to come, but for now I will be working on my crochet hats.
I finished the Prayer Shawl knitted in Indian Cross-Stitch http://newstitchaday.com/how-to-knit-the-indian-cross-stitch/ so here are a couple of pictures I took with my cell phone so you can see how it looks. I think I'm going to make another one in rainbow stripes that will really show off the pattern and the waves.
I am here, sorry I've been away. Terry will never go away again.. (Hello Dolly)?
A friend of mine from the East Black Sea recently opened a cafe. His mom is the one who made the Hemshin socks I posted several months ago. She's now selling some of her socks and working in the cafe, so I thought is show you some of them.
Here is all the info for this year's retreat. PM me with email for
questions, to reserve, or to get ready to pay.
A hearty southern greeting to the male knitters of the Southeast! I think I finally am beginning to figure this whole thing out so….It's time to start planning the Southeast Men's Knitting Retreat 2014 !!!
Last week I posted some pictures of a prayer shawl using the mock cable rib stitch. Fortunately, I had enough yarn left over to make a baby blanket for a friend's new arrival. Here's a link to the pattern in case anyone needs a go to pattern for a baby blanket. Free dowload.
This summer has been busy for me. First adjusting to the the lifestyle of
semi-retirement. Part of this semi-retirement comes with more time, and to
fill this time I started a few projects.
My problem is if I go on Raverly, pick up latest "Knitting Traditions" I feel as if I HAVE to try that pattern out. I end up with 5 or 6 started projects but no ends.
Greetings! I just finished a bulky prayer shawl for my church and thought I'd post some pictures and a link to a free download in case any other men are like-minded. The fabric has a nice drape and I love the texture.
Just wanted to introduce myself and show some completed projects. I mainly knit prayer shawls for a group at church, but my Partner has me knitting scarves for his nieces and the occasional hat for himself. :) The Entrelac shawl was one of a pair that I knitted for some friends who are adopting two little girls from China, I also knitted matching teddy bears to go with them.
It has been a while since I posted any completed projects.
