Fellow knister's, this purple rain sweater cowl has just jumped off the needles. It was knitted from Rowan big wool, using size 13 for the ribbing and 15 for the body itself. I for went the original bind off, as I wanted the bind off to be very elastic, I tinkered around with it until I was pleased with the results.
Good Evening Guys,
As the medically minded of the members here on Men Who Knit know, the answer to the question, "How have you been?"
tells a great deal. The query offers a neutral, safe and simple landing spot for an answer. All too often, though, the answer can be a direct social lie.
"I an fine. Thanks for asking!"
My sister had a baby boy on Jan 9th 3:29am 8.0lbs 21.5. I had just put down my knitting needles on the Hemlock Baby Blanket and she sent me the txt w/ a picture of Maxfield. The Football baby sack is was an easy and just adorable project.
Had fun with this. It's all stockinet te body with seed border and my new favorite edge, I-cord using a blue ribbon and five stitches
The yarn was Caron merino
Finished a sweater for myself with Lett Lopi on 4.5 mm needles. It has been some time since I knit with Lopi wool and this sweater renewed my love for it. I love the lightness and the warmth of it and also how it is so predictable. The wool stands up to washing so well and blooms so nicely. I do have buttons for the collar but will wear it without for a bit to see if I like it that way.
Kind of took a break at the beginning but got the energy going and finsihed my first cable project! Erica Knight pattern...now on to something new :)
