I can't believe it's been almost 3 years since I posted anything on this site. And just re-read all the nice comments about my work. So a very belated "thank you" for all of your comments and compliments.
This has been a long time in the making. I am thrilled to finally have it completed. Perhaps a bit warm for the summer months in Florida;)
I've known about this site for years, and would occasionally lurk, but did not join until this month (7/2013). Generally busy and a bit shy. (Why?!) What pushed me into more active participation were topics by Nehkhasi and Lumpnose that really spoke to me.
What is your instrument of choice and why?

So I knitted 2 baby hats, I have 2 nieces that are having babies. This past weekend there was a family reunion OH PERFECT. I can give the hats, but first I'd like to show mom my handy work.
I found this program on the web for designing stitch patterns.
It is one of the few programs that offer a simulated view of the stitch pattern. Stitch patterns can be viewed as, vertical repeats, horizontal repeats, or all over patterns.

Howdy fellas. What cast on do you use for your socks? I've always used long tail but I'm sure there's a better way to do it. Any suggestions?
