Bella Botanica Shawl

I made the Bella Botanica Shawl (by Karen Strauss - free download on Ravelry) for a friend of mine here in Morelia. I used Tosh Lace in the colourway "Tart" and 3.75 mm needles. Quick and easy. The top is 84 inches and the depth is 36 inches. It took about 750 yards.

Errata, anyone?

OMG! Why do I look patterns and dare myself to do them? I bought the ellington pattern from Cookie A and have been struggling with the first ten rows. For some reason when I get to row 6 on the chart, I start finding problems, like my stitches aren't matching up with the graph.

Acrylic yarn and Passionless knitting

Sock sucess

I almost have my first sock made and have come to the conclusion that its the yarn and needle size that's giving me all of my issues. Needless to say I still have another to make to complete the pair, but the process seems fairly simple at least for these socks.
