For the life of me, I cannot tink a stitch! I have tried and tried and end up having to frog the whole damn piece! Any good advice on learning how to unknit and unpurl stitch by stitch?
Thought I would start a thread for scarf patterns that could be used for the scarf exchange as suggested by vsidart.
I think I have a good grasp of knitting and purling now. I have completed hats and scarves using garter stitching and straight stockinette and some scarves using Gansey patterns and borders.

I was working on another pair of cigar gloves this weekend. I thought of a trick to reduce the number of ends to sew in.
Yesterday I had the opportunity to volunteer at a local alpaca farm for shearing. The day started at 7:30 a.m. with the arrival of the Iowa-based shearing team.
I learned to knit continental style and my continental "purl" is relatively tight (watch it!). I have recently been experimenting with the "Norwegian " purl.
