Merry Christmas

Man, I've attended 5 church services in the past 24 hours. Mass yesterday at 0800, methodist church at 0930, methodist candlelight yesterday evening, midnite mass from 1130-0130 this am, and methodist church this am at 1000. i'm a practicing Metholic or Cathodist, however you want to look at it. Got awesome knit things this year. The tracy Ullman book which looks great. I've always loved her. Also a book called "The Museum of Kitschy Stitches" with the most horrible things ever knitted from patterns or magazine from like the 60's. It looks absolutely hilarious. My next love to knitting is gnomes! I have like 12 of them at the office on my bookcase. Well, I got a little talking gnome and then a little gnome on like a piece of artificial turf and you can put picures behind him and it makes him look like he's at these places like the Eiffel Tower etc. Its hilarious. My patron saint is Bernadette, and I got a Our Lady of Lourdes medallion and a "Song of Bernadette" movie. Then to top it off, a new leather recliner, in which i'm now reclining as I type this blog, as a new knit chair since my dogs seem to have claimed my old knitting chair as their own! I'd say this was about the best Christmas ever. I wish you all the best. xoxoxo

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE . . .

Merry Christmas, everyone! I know . . it has been a few months (or more) that I have posted here or chatted with some of you. I have been keeping up regularly with the posts and what's been going on. I have been busy doing dry needle felting, knitting, and making handcrafted knitting needles and shawl pins. I had a very successful time in a local art show just before Thanksgiving. I was very busy getting ready for the show, and took several orders for needles and felted ornaments that has been keeping me busy up til now.

I also a started a new blog about my fiber world work, www.outerbanksneedles.blogspot.com

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and continue with all the fantastic fiber projects. I have been encouraged and learned so much over the past 6 months from you guys, and have made some great friends to share my interest in knitting.
