Jacob's Ladder Seaman's Scarf

My brother wanted a light scarf that was akin to USA red...that's my term for the color. So, I got the color pallet for the Olympic clothing and finally found some yarn that matched pretty well. Lobsters in the Cathedral -Update 5/26 Back Done

Good Evening All,

Back is off the needles. Thought I'd also have 1/2 of the front done but had a surprise visit from my daughter-in-law and 20 month old Grandson. They came up and spent the weekend while my son was away on business. HAd a great time but did not get much knitting done.

Brethren Sock, too.

Hi guys! After seeing all of Andy's wonderful socks, and shortly after Mark mentioned starting a pair, I decided I'd join the fun and try the Brethren sock pattern as well.

Missing this!

Hi there, guys! I wish I could understand why I sometimes disappear from this website for 6 to 10 months at a time. I love it here and there are so many wonderful knitters on here, but somehow I get out of the habit of logging on here. Heck, even Ravelry doesn't see me for a couple of weeks sometimes.

Steven West Samen

Hi guys. I am starting Steven West "Samen" I am using lace weight . The pattern calls for holding two strands of yarn together.
So far I am doing well. However the pattern is divided into wedges. 1-5 .I've finished the first wedge, however I am confused on the directions. When do I start on the other side of the center?

Beading

So I just got into beading and have a supply question. I am using. 1 mm crochet hook to bead. Having trouble finding beads with large enough holes. I know the bead size I want is 4mm. But how are the holes defined? It seems hit or miss
