Since June I have been struggling to find a pattern or formula to make what I consider a sock that fits and will nicely adjust to needle size and yarn thicknesses. Thanks Ken in Main for all your help and the suggestion to use Yarmando's Evil Sock Genius lessons. He just makes a sock make sense for me.
Sweater finished :D! I knitted it for a foreign student who wanted to give his father a real Norwegian Sweater. Knitted in Viking Superwash yarn, and the pattern is from Viking of Norway. I think they have free download for their catalogs :D!
Working from franklins plaid idea, striped blanket in cobasi plus, garter on the bias and then woven plaid on the wrong side. The ends are all tucked into rolled edge
Some very impressive work!
My wife and I just completed a trip from St. Louis to New Haven CT to visit our son who just began a Masters Degree in Flute performance at Yale's School of Music. We drove to take in the fall foliage and were not disappointed. Spectacular!

Hi guys, just following up on my last post: I decided to buy the pattern for the Sock Sack a few days ago. After looking over the pattern, I went to one of our local discount stores, Mardens, where they have a large selection of fabrics. I found some fun robot-themed
I head off to my journey driving from Chicago to my new home in central Florida. I am staying with one of our knitting buddies in Atlanta, Lou (AKA olddancer on Ravely) and I am really looking forward to that. The wine is in the car and so is my knitting stuff. It's funny. With all the items that I handled, and I handled all of them, it brought back so many memories.
