I knit a sweater for myself with Briggs and Little Sport (one of my favourite yarns) and 3.25 mm needles. I asked my friend Miguel to model it for me. I have made this collar many times on my sweaters because I can button them up to the top and it serves as a scarf or cowl. I am going to Europe next week and will take it with me. It should be the right weight for autumn weather.
I decided to make a cushion. The next cushion is already in the works :-)
I've put the yellow "discovery" sock aside and am doing one using the Lifestyle Toe Up Socks - No Swatch this time. I also like this yarn a lot more; it's a deep teal with darker heathery tones. Knit Picks Swish worsted (superwash merino), Rainforest Heather, on size 3 needles (can you say dense fabric?).
What happens when American acceptance of knitting machines to be carted off to Asia, knitting machine operator training fades into memory, and independent knitwear designers collide?
Check out this idea.
I haven't logged into my account here in quite some time. I just moved to Indiana from Oregon and I have had some issues finding a good knitting group, but I have a good line on one now and I am looking forward to making some new knitting connections here in my new home.
