I often hear people in online knitting circles refer to "Rhinebeck". I am assuming it is some kind of Knitting or Fibre or Spinning show or convention or something like that.

unplying yarn

is it hard to unply yarn......... i have some medium worsted 4 ply yarn that i want to unply it to makee four balls and do something lace

Easy Lifeline With Options Interchangeables

I use lifelines when knitting unless I am doing something really small or really simple. Basically I gain nothing from frogging so I take a little extra time to avoid it at all costs.

First Fair Isle Sweater

Well, here it is. My first attempt at a fair isle sweater. I went cheap with the yarn in case I decided to throw the whole thing into the fire. All in all, I'm kinda proud of it.

The stubborn novice cat blanket; things learned.

Finished that cat blanket I've been working on. It was a great learning experience.

Ribbing Cast Off

So, I finished the buttonhole row on the button band of my cardigan and I looked at the pattern to see what was next and noticed it says “knit 3 more rows then cast off for ribbing”.
