I know it's coming up on the holidays and everyone's probably really busy with projects and gifts, but I thought I'd toss around the idea of a group project...
Well, I'm off to class...we're making the Koolhaas hat tonight, I already have the brim partially done, but I wanted assistance available with the intense cable pattern if need be.
My grandniece in something I made for her. From one of the Mission Falls kids booklets using their 1842 cotton yarn.
I was sent this link today from a guy in my knitting group. It may rile you up a bit, so if you're having a bad day, wait to read it. It got me angry, and that's not an easy thing to do.
I just wanted to show you the backside of this hat. Color stranding is not a hard technique to do, but it is a very detail oriented technique. You have to pay attention to what you are doing or you will end up with a new pattern lol! I am looking toward finishing this hat by the weekend. Even though It looks tight, the material has a great flexibility.
I don't know why it seems to always take me two or three runs at a project to really get it off the ground.
Well, I finally sold a scarf at that coffeeshop.
It still needs blocking - I don't think I'll get that done tonight, or even tomorrow - maybe I'll block it over the weekend.
I just had to do the arm and neck borders on this one. As you can see from the signature it was started in 2006.
