Welcome to Men Who Knit! We receive a lot of spam signups and I must manually approve each account. The information you fill in your user profile is what I use to determine whether a human is requesting an account. If you don't fill in something in the Personal Statement section, your account will take longer to approve.This is usually handled within 24-48 hours.
