My daughter (just to the left of my giant 16-year-old son) works at Gunther Toody's, a fifties-style diner. They get all the servers together to embarrass you on your birthday.

Closer view of the roll collar on the sweater I made for my son. I think maybe the pattern I am using makes the neck hole too big.

I made this sweater for my son for his birthday. I chose the multi-colored yarn because he often wears multi-colored striped shirts. Then he tells me he would have preferred wool. Back to the needles.

Here is a closer view of the sweater I made for my brother from Alison Hensel's "Charmed Knits"

This is my brother wearing the sweater I made him for Christmas. My first sweater!

Erika Knight designed. New Zealand 14 ply wool on 6mm needles.

Although I am not as talented as all you guys on here, I am very proud of my first sweater. I can't wait to make another one. I'm just waiting for a 25% off coupon[total purchase] for the yarn...lol.
