Happy Holidays!
Here are some pictures of the home that we have made for our new family... We have had a GREAT time decorating our home for Christmas and picking out our first Christmas tree and decorations. We included ornaments that we picked out together in Vegas, Kansas, Denver, and of course, Disneyland! This Christmastide has been such a happy one for us! I can't tell you how excited we are to get to spend Christmas together! We had dreamed of being together during a Christmas, but we are finally TOGETHER!
It seems a long time since Eric Paul posted pix of his stocking, and he brought mine to Kansas in late June. I can't tell you how excited and happy I am that we were able to hang our stockings up next to each other... something that neither one of us were expecting, but still hoping for all the same.
The last 7 weeks since I have been here have been wonderful! We are learning more about each other and loving each other more and more. I am having a blast seeing and learning about Southern California and I think that EP is really enjoying showing me everything about this place that he loves. I also have to say there is a certain perverse pleasure in calling the folks back home and telling them about spending time on the beach when they are in the middle of a blizzard.
Tomorrow I start a new job at a family owned optical as an optician! For the last month and a half I have been working a temp job at an insurance company and it was just draining me... I am so happy to have something where I can once again use my mind!!!
We wanted to take a moment to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas, share a bit of your holiday joy and spread a little of ours to you. The last few months have been a scary and wonderful journey, and your support has helped sustain us. Thank you all for being part of our lives and for letting us be part of yours. We both hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season and a VERY blessed New Year!
Bradley and Eric Paul
