Fountain Pen Shawl

I just finished the Fountain Pen Shawl from Interweave Knits Spring 2009. I used Jojoland Harmony yarn on a US size 5 needle. It took only 2/3 of the skein - so a CHEAP gift - it cost all of $6.00 in yarn for this shawl. It is extremely light weight and actually looks good over the top of something black or bright vibrant jewel toned things. The pictures show how it washes out against some colors...oh well.

Holy wow that is gorgeous! I adore jojoland immensely. Knitting the chastain park shawl in jojoland as we speak. :) Its for the grandma in laws xmas.

Really nice - as always - although the pattern only vaguely resembles fountain pen nibs. ;-) -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

100 merino wool, laceweight with LONG varigation (in my experience, about one repeat per ball (880 yards))

I usually really dislike

I usually really dislike color changing yarn for lace because it does not do either the lace or the yarn justice, but in this case with the veeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy long changes it is really effective!
