What a pleasant surprise to me. I followed a lead on the web for a tool I want to cut leather lacing, and much to my astonishment, I discovered that knittingdaily.com was marketing signups to it's site using the inducement of a free ebook of men's patterns.

Maybe this is old news. Maybe I just leave an electronic trail of testosterone. Or the cookies on my computer reek of male knitting? Or perhaps, oh, no....could they really be...what a concept...be actually trying to see if there is a market for knitting patterns that interest men and those who knit for them????!!!

How clever. How original. How interesting. How smart. How DELICIOUS!

I joined Knitting Daily when

I joined Knitting Daily when they first started. I have to say that I don't go there very much...MWK fits my needs so much better as far as a knitting community goes. Still, I don't think I'll drop it as it is a resource. Even if I am a "thorn among roses". {Edit - I must add that they do try to offer patterns for men on a fairly regular basis.} -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

To some extent that probably depends on what patterns are *IN* the e-book.

Anyone looked at it yet? (I can't - as the site is blocked as they offer "media downloads"....).
