I actually thought about doing this when I was learning XML. Since you can develope any "object" model it stood to reason KnitML qould be doable, never finished it. However did write this for a request on the knit list.
Hmmmm....could not get the link to open on this computer. Too bad: I imagine it would be something fun, coming from Mark. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
Thanks for the correct label, GrammarCop! This is why I write about this stuff, rather than actually write it. Knitting Mark-up Language is a voluntary group attempting to create a natural language knitting pattern software resource for the befuddled and chronically electronically challenged.
If I have a little extra money, I buy yarn, fiber books, and knitting supplies. I get food with what's left over.
Oh now I get it! This is sort of the way I write my patterns down anyway. However, this tool would make it a lot easier and in a format other people could more readily understand. (What works for my personal use - maybe 90% of the time, anyway - often drives others batty.) I like it. Thanks, NYB and GrammarCop, for bringing this to my attention. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
