Chevron Scarf

This is the Chevron scarf from Arctic Lace. The yarn is hand dyed Merino Super Sport from Southwest Weaving. I love this kind of geometric lace. There are several other pieces in Arctic Knitting that I want to do and maybe even splurge on some Qivuit for one.

Amazing! What a beautiful pattern, and your work is flawless =) I've only ever tried lace once, but I used a yarn that was too heavy. Maybe next time =) Great job!

Thanks guys. I am hopelessly addicted to lace knitting. I think I might be ready to start designing my own patterns. Also, reading charts has become second nature, it's kind of like reading music, eye to finger connection without having to pass through the brain. I used to look at those charts and wonder WTF?

That pattern is just great. I have a book called "Artic Lace" by Donna Druchunas.......Nomad Press. It deals with the history of Inupiates of Alaska Lace Knitting and the Musk Ox it is a wonderful book with patterns as well.
