So I should have been in the US right now on holiday, but instead I was offered a graduation project I just could not refuse. I am currently in Austria studying the decline of the Pasterze Glacier, it is absolutely awesome, though kind a cold. I'll be here till mid December and hope to have enough material to graduate and get my Phd in Geomorphology
As for knitting, lets just say I haven't had much chance too, I did finish some scarfs, also finished my joukainen sweater, but decided to frog it after finishing it.

Passing up a trip for such an interesting project was worth it. I periodically regret not making the time to take a similar trip to India right after graduating from university. Enjoy! -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
