I am trying to figure out how to treat the soles of the clogs so that they are not so slippery. I noticed that Chris has a plug for Plasti Dip in his blog. What are other guys doing to unslick their soles?
I bought some rug backing from Michaels, but I am still working out the best way to apply it.
I am thinking about making templates for a sole pattern using 1/8" matt board. In theory, after using a low tack adhesive on the matt, they can be stuck to the sole, the cutouts filled with rug backing and leveled off with a straight edge.
When the matt is removed, the sole pattern will (should) remain.
I suspect that this is how the gloves with decorative gripper palms are made.
