Weave-It Afghan/Wall hanging from vintage pattern

I finished this Saturday morning, my last day of a 15 day stay in Patara. I found the basic pattern from a 1940's Weave-It pattern book, but made some changes. Used 5 sizes of looms, 2x2, 2x4, 4x4, 4x6 and 2x6. I don't claim that it is "art", but I'm going to hang it on the wall of our entry hall. Dimensions are 3'x5'. Mostly made of wool. The green border is a 50/50 blend.

On the technical side, how did you weave the piece? From my view, could be tapestry joins, crochet or sewn. Or did you tie in the warps in section to make it all tabby? Or some other technique by hand?
