This pattern has mittens, but I want gloves. I am modifying the pattern to make fingerless gloves, kind of, there will be no tips on the end of the gloves, maybe they willbe, I have not decided yet, bute I am sharing the VUlcan Salute with you. Live long and Prosper.

Shouldn't be too hard to adapt this pattern to gloves, Andy. May need a few extra rounds to give the ease needed between the fingers, though. "Live long and prosper" back. [I never can remember the proper response, but always recognize it when I hear it.] -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
