Just joined
Found this site a couple of days ago after sniffing around looking for info on knitting that is not targetted at chicks. have tackled a couple of scarves and am ready to take the plunge an knit my first jumper. Couldn't find a simple one I liked till I saw Elemmaciltur's Neptune.... thanks mate!

I haven't seen Australia since I became a Shellback in the Navy back in 1992. (OMG, come to think of it, that's just shy of 20 years ago, now.) I quite miss it down there, actually. I loved the visit -- only spent a week there. Not nearly enough time to see and do what I wanted to. Would have liked to have stayed. Definitely want to go back...really I do.
