So I don't know what happened when I tried to post this the first time, but some error popped up and told me it did not like me. A woman in my office is having a baby so since I have never really liked how the BSJ looked I made this, the Ribbed Baby Jacket from the Big R.

The button was something
The button was something interesting for me, I have never used one before, so this was something new. Figuring out how to make it work was interesting, as was trying to get the bottom of the sweater to not roll. I actually took my darning needle and sewed along the whole back to try and stop the rolling, which was almost two inches, and it kind of worked. Now it only rolls about 1/2 of an inch. I do not know why this pattern does not have ribbing or something to stop the rolling that will occur if anyone follows the pattern exactly.

Charming! Make sure that
Charming! Make sure that button is on there super tight. Mums see chocking hazards everywhere. But it makes the jacket!

It is on there very tight,
It is on there very tight, three loops through the holes to make sure that it will not come off. I found the button very quickly, in the 5 minutes before Joannes Fabrics closed the day before I had to have the sweater done. I actually had to learn to crochet to make the loop for the button to go through.
