My wife wore a shawl I made for her on a recent trip to her mother's. Her mother said she'd really like to have something like that to wear, so here it is.
It is very light-weight and airy. I made it from Zephyr 50/50 wool/silk (vanilla color) on a US size 5 needle and then blocked it fairly hard (thus the sort of raggedy edge - but I'm thinking with a bit of wearing that will even out more). The border leaves and some scattered leaves throughout are outlined with 6/0 seed beads (Clear AB beads).
