Goes to show that she must really enjoy knitting, because not only did she knit for 30 hours while trapped, she also happened to be knitting when the earthquake hit, or else she wouldn't have been able to get to it. Imagine being trapped for 30 hours and your knitting is 10 feet away and unattainable. I would die right then and there.
