My favorite is sweaters,

My favorite is sweaters, usually for female family members and close friends. I am also raffling one for charity. A sweater knit by a man seems to benefit ticket sales...

I actually like doing

I actually like doing ribbing, because that way I don't get bored with the same stitch across long rows.

I do mostly shawls as gifts

I do mostly shawls as gifts or fund raisers - so the lace makes them much "fancier" in appearance.

MMario - I don't live in the 21st Century - but I play a character who does.

Ditto here ... shawls. Right now I'm addicted to lacey, circular shawls. I've completed two since the beginning of June (one isn't bloced yet) and have two on the needles right now.

i know we all love all of

i know we all love all of knitting aspect, but i mean..if you hadddd to choose...whats your favorite thing to knit....? for me, the more challenging the better...so i will go with fair isle even though i am knitting lace right now....
