Any one else doing the Tour De Fleece?? It's for spinners and I've set a goal for spinning at least 10 min each day. My stretch goal is to spin up all of "Bo's" alpaca fleece (20 oz) I got for Christmas.
Not familiar with this, but I have been focussing on my spinning this week. I'm trying out a technique of washing the fleece then lightly hand fluffing it and spinning it with no furthur preparation. So far I'm enjoying the results. I find that the fewer the steps involved in something, the more likely I am to do it- I am impatient and detest fiddleyness. I am a wool spinner, and my favorite breed to date is Shetland.
