Well, the dear pup may find that he likes it. Since they have limited color vision it may be his idea of gorgeous. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
You may call it ugly, but from what I see, it looks like some great knitting there! Great job!
"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution." --Albert Einstein
The colour combo might not be the most soothing.....but the question is will your dog mind and even more important, will it wash well? !!
My latest, "it seemed like a good idea at the time", was to buy 5 balls of something called Cindy by Katia. It was on SALE!! I wanted to make a large shawl for a friend but thought a trial run on a open lace scarf might be a good idea. On the ball it felt pleasant, even soft. Knit up it is more like Kevlar - hard, tough, unyielding. I may continue to scarf and offerer it up as a towing rope at the church bazzar.
Looking at your pic again, the rug might actually be nice with the dog on it, kind of framing the beastie. And...I love your floors! Cheers! - Phil
