i'm going to have to use lifelines. i've started on a hooded pullover and after finishing the ribbing i was sure i was going to blaze away on the back panel........somehow i managed to drop an extraordinary number of stitches so i start ripping back but got carried away and ripped much farther than i had intended. oh well, i'm probably going to put in a lifeline every 5 row from now on. maybe i'll do a clog.....tho' as slow as i've been, lately, it'll take me a year to finish just one.
it sucks that having to work for a living takes sooo much time away from the needles.

hi lars. well, i think
hi lars. well, i think there may be more than one definition. when i'm doing something that i'm sure i'll have some mistakes in the making of it......after i successfully complete 5 or 6 rows without incident i'll pull a piece of waste yarn a few inches longer than the piece is wide (in a loud contrasting colour) thru the stitches so if i make a mistake further on i can just rip back to the 'lifeline.' i sometimes get carried away and will rip back further than i intend to. hope this helps.

Brian, you said it! I've
Brian, you said it! I've been so obsessed with knitting lately that I find myself almost getting mad at many of the other activities that are part of my life. All I want to do is knit!
If you decide to do clogs, be sure to share your experiences. I've now started for the 3rd time on them.
