DPNS and the Freedom Hat
I have finally finished my first DPN project and it is actually my first dpn pattern as well. I am taking advantage of feeling good to show you the hat. Until now I have been afraid of DPNs, until I made this hat. I can say that making hats with DPNs is a science in itself. I can not compare circular knitting, or flat knitting with dpn knitting, it is a different experience. I say it is a matter of choice. In the meantime thanks for allowing me to share this with you.

Nice hat, Andy! That alternating ribbing is a great way to hug the forehead and make it attractive at the same time. My problem is the reverse...I'm finally getting used to using Magic Loop and 2 Circulars for knitting in the round. Glad you are feeling better. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

I have made a lot of hats on the flat and have used two circular needles, but most of my hats are Tapestry Crochet.
