After we found our little Kenneth, a friend of mine's chihuahua passed away. He and his wife had bought an entire wardrobe of sweaters, t-shirts, parkas, rain coat, bath robe, etc. for their little one and they sent it all to us. Then... a few months later, they adopted another chihuahua so I'm trying to return some of their generosity. This is the first sweater for them. Kenneth is modeling it and hopefully it will fit ZeeWee. It's a tiny bit tight on Kenneth.

OMG! Your dog is so cute!
OMG! Your dog is so cute! I love the sweater. My girls are too damn big for sweaters; plus, they have way too much fur.

Wow! A chic, tasteful dog sweater - I wish I looked that good in my clothes. Sigh.
Great job!
Both the color and pattern
Both the color and pattern suit Kenneth very well, he looks particularly good in a turtle neck. I think you should make him one as well.

It's loosely based on
It's loosely based on "Casey's Coat" in "Stitch'n'Bitch Nation" (pages 222 through 225). I followed it strictly for Kenneth's first sweater, but for this one I added the two-ply mock turtle-neck, a button hole on top for the leash, and the seed stitch border to keep the side and end from curling up. I think that's about it. Good luck!
Nice job... I have decided
Nice job...
I have decided to reknit my dogs jacket... now that it is summer... the pressure isn't on any more... so maybe low priority .
You obviously had not trouble following instructions... I really struggle. Well done
