Yes, I actually do knit and here is the proof. I totally love this pattern. I'm surprised at how fast I turned it out. The BF was even impressed. The only problem was the buttons. Noro is to organic looking for cute kid buttons. I think I spent an hour in JoAnn's trying tons of different buttons. Anyway, I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Off to the next project.

Looks like you maybe decided
Looks like you maybe decided to not do any type of finishing at the neck. I think it looks perfectly fine in the picture. One thing that this picture of the BSJ brings to mind is the graceful curve of the bind off on the front "corners", it's magical the way that happens I think. A side note on the BSJ, my mind of full of worthless yet interesting tid bits, EZ was trying to unvent a baby cap when she came up with this knitting puzzle. I never have been able to figure out just how she thought she was going to get a hat the way she started but then nothing would have surprised (no pun) me with her.

This business was originally started by woman who couldn't find buttons for a sweater she had knit and through her frustration, decided just to make some herself.
