Yeah, yeah, I know, it's a year old story, but, I was just made aware of it just today.

Hmmmm...I'm just wondering how did I MISS this?

This is like wicked awesome and just like I've said for years and years, we knitting folk will end up saving the world -- according to this report we WILL!!!

Looks like it's all up to us, now.

"Yarn Theory: Knitting,

"Yarn Theory: Knitting, Crochet, Math and Science" Exhibition just closed at PS122 Gallery. It was amazing. They produced a cabaret/opera act on knitting as well! Just put knitting and mathematics into the search engine and get out of the way. Great fun. The book store manager of B&N at Fashion Institute of Technology is a knitter...we had a blast looking at the papers and books emerging on the subject. First time I ever heard about warp knitting and weft knitting...and I've done my fair share of weaving.

I LOVE this stuff! A teacher friend has this book and let me borrow it for a bit. I didn't knit anything out of it, but, it was a blast to read.
