I finished it.

I started this sweater from my sister in October and finally finished it last weekend. I designed the pattern myself. The ribbing was done with tiny cable and the body was a simple eyelet using a yarn over. My first time making double button bands with magic button holes. She loved it.

I think this looks really great. Congrats on the design and getting what you had hoped for in the end! I like the idea of cables for ribbing.

That's a nice design, David. The color is very complimentary to the design. On my monitor screen, it reminds me of coral. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

I love how the button bands

I love how the button bands are accented by the cables- it makes them a design element unto themselves.
