Just finished the hat today. I immediately wanted to knit it as soon as I saw it on brooklyntweed.blogspot.com.

That man is a genius.

If I ever do it again, I'll do it in a solid color.

It is a great hat... I've made a couple of them.

I've always made mine in solid black, but yours turned out so nice I think my next will have to have something a bit more colorful! Beautiful job.

I like this version; the simple dark stripe gives it style. The more I see this hat, the more I want to make it. As if I didn't already have a bunch! -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

That is a great looking

That is a great looking hat...it seems as though it's a perfect design for color variations in your yarn...especially in that it shows off the patterning to it's best. I've seen it in solid colors and it looks just as fine.

I'm surprised you didn't post a picture of you modeling it!
