Better luck next year....

I came in dead last at the fishing derbywith the smallest fish. I won a hat. Oh well.

I have been trying out a very ugly wool a friend of mine tried to spin. Its half dog sheddings and wool. Undyed and coarse. I call it the monster. My friend laughed his ass off when he handed it to me.

No idea what the hell to do with it!!!

I actually like the look of the knitted fabric you're creating with the yarn. How much of it was spun? Enough for a vest?

Just don't knit anything that would be worn next to the skin...dog hair is reknown for sticking out in a way that can be very itchy.

You get an "A" plus for trying to do something with it and I agree, a doggie blanket is about the only thing I would do with it. I think your friend had the right idea.............give it away lol. But being the true knitter you are, you are trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear lol, good luck and I await the final out come.

Make a doggie afghan out of it ... the dog will love it ... it would feel like home to him... it certainly would smell like it (meant in the best possible way :) )
