Pink Ribbon Socks for ACS Relay for life

I just finished these socks for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life event next month. I made these purple which signifies pancreatic cancer which took my sister three years ago.

Pattern: Pink Ribbon Socks
Yarn: Black Trillium Merilion (Merino/Nylon) fingering weight.
Needles: Hiya Hiya 9" circulars size 0 (2mm)

I am sure we have all lost

I am sure we have all lost someone special to cancer and to see you do something to combat it really makes me feel good, Randy. The socks are beautiful!! Whenever I work on socks, I think of you and your little circular. My poor hands cramp up at the thought of it. Glad you have conquered it.

Nice job...it's incredibly satisfying to be able to use a skill like knitting to both memorialize a loved one and to help raise money to prevent some other family's sorrow. Your socks came out beautifully.
