The Sassy Hat
Thanks to some great advice to keep it simple this is what I finally came up with for my Sassy hat. Thanks to Diane and Allyson for being my models. I really like this pattern and have started another one but instead of the k2, p2 band I'm doing a seed stitch band and my hubby is going to make me a cool metal button for it and some others I'm planning.

The hat came out great- the colors give me a tropical fish feel, really groovy! I did a seed stitch band on the sweater I'm knitting now, and find that it wants to flip outward onto itself. Maybe not a problem for a hat though.
