I apologize for not having any better posed pictures. I just can't seem to get enough time to do it, but I wanted to share my double knit hat. It's reversible and is made from Mission Falls 1824. Really warm and a nice hat all around. This is the second one I've made.
Sorry for the cheesy pic of me in the mirror, but it's the only one that really shows how the hat looks when worn.

I really really like this, and I also love doing double knit (sometimes). Is the pattern your own, or otherwise where is it from?

Thank you for the
Thank you for the compliment. I wasn't so successful on my first attempt at the crown. It's very hard to maintain good tension in double knit, so after I finished the hat, I frogged back to the beginning of the crown shaping and knit each one separately. I'm happy I did: it looks much more polished that way.
I agree with MMario. Your

Really impressive! I recently finished a double-knit hat in these same colors. Double-knitting is slow -- but the result is wonderful. Congratulations! -John

Very cool hat. I've yet to venture into color pattern but that hat makes it tempting. I need to get Son of Stitch n Bitch just to finish off my set. They are great books and she has this great way of explaining things so that even I can understand them.
I love that hat pattern and
I love that hat pattern and I love the colors you chose! I've been wanting to make it ever since I bought the book. You've done such a nice job with it. I haven't attempted double knitting yet, but I think this pattern will be the one I work on first.

I have loved this hat since I first got the book, but since I have done so many hats recently I decided to work on something else. I really need to make this one day soon.
