My partner has just finished the first section of the Unst Lace Shawl, a 38 row with 10 repeats pattern in cobweb cashmere knitted on 2.25mm. The beauty of the shawl belies the swearing and profanity that went into it :)
Amazingly beautiful, keeping track of that would have put me over the edge.
Great beauty always involves great suffering. Nice piece!
That is truly beautiful. What an achievement.
The lace done "right" - thin yarn, small needles - always impresses me. I just don't have the patience. I have to admit my moose lace give me great pleasure - but sometimes I dream about creating one of the traditional teensy weensy lace knitting pieces.
This is inspiring!
It is always spectacular to see knitting lace and the cashmere must have made an incredibly soft and lofty fabric.
Absolutely gorgeous. I can imagine the words I would use to try doing it. I think my partner would need ear plugs. Tell your partner that it is outstanding and beautiful work.
W O W!!!
