I'd have to agree with Mnjack but for a different reason. Most of the magazines are geared toward women, but I found I couldn't find any inspiration at all in Creative Knitting.
Scotty...I would say no. I subscribed to it a few years ago and found that it was mostly geared to women. There were very few designs for men's garments. It may have changed since then but I only kept the subscription a year.
