Here are the black socks I just finished, toe up, two at a time on two circs. I used the stitch pattern from Sensational Knitted Socks called "twin rib." Knit in the round, it's one row of K3P3 and then one row of K1P1. The yarn I used is from Red Heart (believe it or not). It's called Red Heart and Sole with Aloe, 70% superwash wool and 30% nylon. I'm generally no big fan of Red Heart, but my local pusher, err I mean LYS gave me the yarn to try out. These socks are plenty thin to wear under dress shoes. I look forward to seeing how they stand up to use. With 30% nylon, I have a feeling they're going to be plenty durable. My only regret is I didn't make a longer cuff.

Your socks look great, I've never had a problem with that percentage of wool/nylon wearing out. I knit a pair of black socks last year and the guy turned out to have feet 12" long, I thought they were endless. Will never knit black socks again.
