Hi Guys,

Jerzy posted something similar a few days ago, so I decided to post this, too. I made these last fall and had a lot of fun doing it. I loves me the dpns. The original pattern is from "Never Knit Your Man a Sweater Unless You've Got the Ring" but I modified it for a heavier yarn.

Great looking glove-mitts. I keep thinking I'd like to try some of those as gifts. Maybe even for myself. I know there are several different versions out there. I've knit gloves once: a gift for my twin. He wore them a few times - whining about a loose fit - and hasn't been able to find them since he moved. Moral - No more knit goodies for him! I usually just do mittens...hmmm...maybe I should redo the pair that are in Icelandic yarn (which have sat idle for WAAAAY too long) as glove-mitts. It's a thought. Books, knitting, cats...Life is Good.

I love your glove-mittens.

I love your glove-mittens. Really so practical and much better than ripping off you mitts when you need to use your fingers. Would buy the book just for that pattern. Great knitting.

Shoot, I'd by the book just for the title and the mittens would be a nice bonus. lol Great glove-mittens - I may have to tackle those soon.
