So, I have been doing many hats and I have a new favorite way to making them. I converted the Ski Hat pattern from Son of Stitch 'n' Bitch from straight needles to circulars. I would have it done by now, but I have been very sick over the last few days and have been unable to knit. I have also been teaching some of my friends again, one just had me teach her fair isle, so I showed her the pattern that I used to make my very first hat.

That's a great hat. What's the yarn? I really like those classic colors. So do you switch to dpns after deducting a certain number of stitches? And have you ever done a hat top down? That's fun too, it gives you some flexibility if you want to get creative with the pattern.
