I bought the dark variegated yarn in Alaska a couple of years ago and wasn't sure what I'd do with it. Then I saw the Noro scarf that vsidart posted last year and thought it looked beautiful so I decided to find a lighter colored variegated yarn to use with the dark and make a similar scarf. It doesn't have anywhere near the great color variations of the Noro scarf, but at least I figured out something to do with the yarn.
I tried posting a file with a closeup of the colors, but no luck.
Gotta get back to work on my bathroom rug now...

Seems like we had the same
Seems like we had the same idea at the same time... If you're on ravelry, you can see my noro inspired scarf there (I'm thomabulous on ravelry), or you can check it out as the last attachment on my piano scarf post here on MWK. I did mine with a solid teal color and with a bluish/purpleish variegated yarn.
