I just finished my first sweater of 2009 - it's a sweater I test knit for a friend - it's supposed to have a hood as well, but because of the colors I used, I decided to give it a different collar... the next one I make I'll use more "guy" colors and add the hood!

Love the colors. Great job.
Love the colors. Great job. Can't imagine putting a zipper in. Guess I'll stick with lace!

putting a zipper in is VERY easy - I just buy the correct length zipper (online there is a place www.zipperstop.com that has all kinds of zippers reasonably priced)... then I take the zipper and knitted garment to my tailor, hand it to them and say here - put this zipper in! a few days later, it's done!
easy as pie :)

I think I was misunderstood
I think I was misunderstood - I test knit it for a designer friend - so that she could be sure the patten is correctly written prior to offering it for sale - she had some good suggestions as to how to construct the garment - and I believe she's going to include some good ideas about how she does joggless color changes when working in the round. (I had my own ideas but they weren't all that successful when changing colors after 2 rows)
Thanks for the comment though - I appreciate it!
