I bought a book of "Herbert Niebling's" lace patterns today, on a site on line. Oh I can hardly wait to tackle some of them......got to get this crocheting out of the way first....or do I lol

Which book did you get?

Which book did you get? Which patterns will you knit first? I still haven't finished my first Niebling ("Lotus Flower"). It's knit and just sitting on the needles waiting for me to figure out which bind off technique I'll use.

There are 9 Patterns Fingrt

There are 9 Patterns
Fingrt Lure Frog King Autumn Leaves Forest Bells Hubertine Gentian Leaf Ground Salmon Queen and Rose Leaf. Seven are knitted on 1.0 mm and 1 each 2.5 and 3.00 mm. I don't think I will find lace yarn thin enough so am planing on enlarging finished items.

You might want to see if you can get JoJoland Harmony - some of the colourways are ALMOST solid. and it's thin.
