Well this is my first post here
I joined shortly before the holidays
anyway I just finished my first felting project

Its a simple scarf using stockinette stitch
to get the 3 dimensional bubbles I simpley tied in decorative stones and then felted the scarf

Looks really cool. So you actually put stones inside the bobbles? How much felting did you do? It still looks quite soft and pliable. Nice colors too.

yes I use smooth stones used

yes I use smooth stones used for for decorating I got the Idea from a book by Nikky Epstein called Knitting never felt so good I just tied them in and ran it through the washer twice
the colors are dark teal and lemongrass by lion brand the fiber is lion wool

Do the stones come out afterwards? I would think it would make for a very heavvy scarf unless the stones were pumice.....
